RAJA PEARY MOHAN COLLEGE MEDICAL UNIT
The Medical Unit under the aegis of the convener, Dr. Sugopa Ghosh Mondal has made great progress in monitoring the health of the students, teachers and non-teaching staff. Most of the students have been issued health cards. Members of the Alumni Association and one of the donor members of the Governing Body are experienced physicians and they have also volunteered to provide free medical check-up once in a month. This year the unit organized a health camp on physical checkup of I st year students of the college, which included pressure, height weight and general check up of all students and also blood group test. Some of the activities of the unit in the Post NAAC Period are as follows:

Health and hygiene awareness: Health Unit of Raja Peary Mohan College
Convener: Dr. Sugopa Ghosh Mondal- Monitoring the health of the students, teachers and non-teaching staff are done regularly.
- The unit provides First Aid Treatment for students and staff.
- First Aid Kits are provided in the Student’s Union Room and in the Staff Room by the unit.
- Provision for blood pressure check up and height and weight measuring instruments are present.
- Rest Room with a single bed arrangement is present.
- Health cards are issued to the Students annually.
- Members of the Alumni Association and one of the donor members of the Governing Body are experienced physicians and they have also volunteered to provide free medical check-up once in a month.
- The unit organizes an annual health camp for physical checkup of I st year students of the college, which includes pressure, height weight and general check up of all students.
- Health camp for blood group test for all students was organized in 200, 2008, 2009, & 20010. Reputed doctors and paramedical staff of Howrah District Hospital of West Bengal did the tests.
- Health Camp for Awareness about Thallassemia, Anti Rabbies and animal bite and Cardio-vascular resuscitation with Rotary Club of East Calcutta and Rotary Club of Saltlake, Down Town. (NGO) in 2010

Service Learning Through Blood Donation: Students Union & Non-Teaching Staff Union of Raja Peary Mohan College
- Students Union of Raja Peary Mohan College organizes Blood Donation Camp Every Year in collaboration with Central Blood Bank, Manicktala, Kolkata. The College collects blood of at least about 60 donors. The blood is stored and transported under optimum condition with the help of Central Blood Bank workers and Students of the College. Transfusion was always under the supervision of trained personnel. Under the policy, blood transfusion is available to people irrespective of their economic or social status.
- Non-Teaching Staff Union of Raja Peary Mohan College organized a Blood Donation Camp in 2007
2007-2008: General Health check up of Ist Year students and Blood group test on 16th February, 2008. 7OO students participated and 30 teachers were present for the camp. Reputed doctors and paramedical staff of Howrah District Hospital of West Bengal did the tests. The doctors presented were:
