- A new Research Project on “Longitudinal & Latitudinal Variability of GNSS scintillations in the Equatorial Anomaly of the Indian zone” and got financial assistance of Rs 37.85 lakh from Department of Science & Technology, Government of India (DST). (2014 -2017)
- Undertook a Major Research Project entitled “A Study on the Variability of Total Electron Content Near the Crest of the Equatorial Anomaly in the Indian Zone” and got financial assistance of Rs 8.62 lakh from Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) RESPOND program. (2006 -2009)
- Undertook a Major Research Project entitled “A study on variability of post-sunset total electron content and scintillation near the crest of the equatorial anomaly in the Indian zone” and got financial assistance of Rs 9.98 lakh from Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) RESPOND program. (2009-12)
- Just Completed a Major Research Project entitled “Electro-dynamical control over the ionization processes near the crest of the equatorial ionization anomaly and beyond” and got financial assistance of Rs.54 lakh from Department of Science & Technology, Government of India (DST). (2010-13)

- Pinaki De, Assistant Professor, Department of English worked in a collaborative research activity with Subrata Roy Choudhury, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, Belur, Howrah, as co-investigator of UGC sponsored Minor Research Project worth Rs. 1,00,000/- entitled “Changing faces of Globalised Kolkata: A Lens’ Eye View” (2008-2010).
- Dr Amal Chandra Mondal, Assistant Professor, Department of Physiology : During his post-doctoral research Dr Amal Chandra Mondal worked with two international groups: one led by Dr Robert R. Conley of Maryland Psychiatric Research Centre, Baltimore, Maryland, USA and another led by Dr Gabor Faludi, Dr Milkos Palkovits & Dr Andrea Sarosi of The Laboratory of Morphology, Hungarian Academy of Sciences and Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary.
- Dr Samir Roy, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics worked with IIT Madras, TU Kaiserslautern(Germany), ITWM, the Research and Development consultancy to EU Industry under the supervision of Dr Michael Junk.
D. Faculty involvement in guiding student research:

1. Dr Srutinath Praharaj, Associate Professor & Head of the Department of Commerce.
- Guided Dr Diptendu Simlai, who worked for his Ph.D. thesis on "Work Condition in the Manufacturing Industries of West Bengal". He was awarded Ph.D. degree by the University of Calcutta in 2010.
- Guided Dr Anupam Mitra, who worked for his Ph.D. thesis on "Credit Risk Management in Urban Cooperatives". He was awarded Ph.D. degree by the University of Calcutta in 2013.
- At present two Research Scholars are doing their Ph.D. work under him.
2. Dr Debashis Chattopadhyay, Associate Professor & Head of the Department of English.
- Guided Tanusree Mandal, who worked for her M.Phil. Degree on "Pygmalion, Heartbreak House & Saint Joan: A Study of the Development of Shaw’s Concept of Heroism". She was awarded her M.Phil. degree by the Rabindra Bharati University in 2010.
- Guiding Kalapi Sen, who is working for her Ph.D. thesis on "From Margins to the Centre: A Study of the Subordinate Figures in the Novels of Chinua Achebe". She is registered with the Netaji Subhas Open University since 2008.
3. Dr BulbulThakur, Associate Professor, Department of Physiology
- She is an approved and recognized Ph.D. Supervisor under University of Calcutta. Research Scholars are working for Ph.D degree under her guidance.
4. Dr Shyamal Kumar Chakraborty, Associate Professor, Department of Physics.
- Guided Rajkumar Hajra, who worked for his Ph.D. thesis on "A Study on the Variability of Total Electron Content near the Crest of the Equatorial Anomaly in the Indian Zone". He was awarded Ph.D. degree by the University of Calcutta in 2012.
- There are three Research Scholars - Satarup Chatterjee, Sourav Majumdar & Sudipta Dey - working under Dr Shyamal Kumar Chakraborty for the Major Research Projects funded by DST, Government of India.
5. Dr Anindita Mondal Maji, Associate Professor, Department of Physiology.
- Guiding Rumila Majumder, who is working for her Ph.D. thesis on "Cardio-vascular and respiratory status of workers engaged in different industries in West Bengal". She is registered with the University of Calcutta.
- Guiding Suva Pal, who is working for her Ph.D. thesis on "Studies on Respiratory, Haematological and Biochemical status of construction workers from West Bengal, India". She is registered with the University of Calcutta.

- Guided Rupak Bhattacharjee, who worked for his M.Phil. Degree on "A Comparative Study of Iterative Methods for Large System of Linear Equations". He was awarded the M.Phil. degree in 2010 by The Global Open University, Nagaland.
